Through this course, you will analyze variability in the design, production, exchange, and interpretation of messages in relational, family, professional, and cultural contexts.

This course provides a critical perspective of racial ideologies in the U.S. Focusing on racial attitudes, U.S. history, media constructions, and the roles of whiteness and colorism, this course allows for students to develop the knowledge and skills to identify and critique current systems of racial inequality and to develop strategies for racial justice initiatives.
